This "Ultra Thin" kerf saw, along with Zona's 35-050 and 35-200, is the thinnest razor saw available. The blade is only .008" thick - ideal for making super fine cuts in wood, soft metals and plastic without causing splitting or ragged edges. Ultra thin razor saws also have shorter cutting depths with steel backs for added blade stability. This saw cuts on the pull stroke. 113mm (4.5") in length with a cutting depth of 11mm (7/16" and 42 TPI (teeth per inch). With wooden handle
Zona Tools are made in the USA
TPI refers to the number of teeth per inch, the more teeth per inch, the finer the cut, i.e. blades with 42 tpi leave a smoother finish than those with 24 tpi. Kerf relates to blade thickness or the size of the slot made by the blade in parting the material. Length refers to the length of the blade from end to end. Depth refers to the blade's cutting depth, measured from the cutting edge up where it meets the steel back.
